Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

NovaBooks offers a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged.

2. Subscription Fees

Once your free trial ends and you subscribe to a paid plan, subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable.

3. Exceptions

We may issue a refund at our discretion in the following situations:

• You were charged in error due to a technical issue on our end.
• A duplicate payment was processed for the same billing period.
• You cancel within 7 days of your first paid charge and have not made substantial use of the Service.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at hello@novabooks.app within 7 days of the charge, including your account email and reason for the request. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless it qualifies under the exceptions above.

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our payment provider. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
